After the circumsizing ceremony the boys are leaving the manyattas of their mother for several months. In that period they are not allowed in the neighbourhood of the villages. It is even a big blame for a boy when his mother sees him during this time.
The boys wear brown or black clothes, have very beautiful paintings on their face and hunt birds for feathers on their head decorations. In the past they had to kill animals for food. Nowadays some of them prefer to chase tourists to receive money for pictures to buy some chips or chocolate bars.
